This is NOT a physical product. This listing is for a downloadable PDF file of our Sea Salt soap recipe.
This soap recipe is all-natural, vegan, and palm-oil free!
This is considered an intermediate/advanced soap recipe if you are making it in the loaf mold. If you choose to use cavity molds for this recipe, it's appropriate for advanced beginners, as it's much simpler to make it that way.
This is a comprehensive 18-page PDF download (it's LONG!), which includes a two-page quick recipe that you can easily print and a full step-by-step instruction guide. This recipe includes instructions to CPOP (Cold Process Oven Process) your soap as well! This is the technique I like to use for sea salt bars. The PDF also covers what sea salt bars are and how they differ from regular bars of soap.
The main recipe in the PDF is for our Citrus Sea Salt soap, but we also include our Sea Salt Soap Base (the unscented version) as well. So, you get the following recipes in this download:
- Sea Salt Soap Recipe Base
- Citrus Sea Salt
- Peppermint Eucalyptus
- Lavender Sea Salt
- Ocean Waters
- Himalayan Pink
So, it's like six recipes in one! Please note that this is an intermediate/advanced recipe and it is not intended for a brand new soapmaker! Do not purchase unless you're confident that you can do the following:
- make and use a 50/50 lye-water solution
- use aloe vera juice as an additional liquid
- oven process your soap (you can skip this step by making your soap in a cavity mold)
- look for gel and time the cutting of your loaf (you can skip this step by making your soap in a cavity mold)
Essential oils used:
- orange 10x, litsea cubeba, lemon, grapefruit, eucalyptus, peppermint, lavender, spearmint, copaiba balsam, geranium (this is for all six soaps)
If you've made a lot of soap, you shouldn't have any trouble following the instructions, even if you've never made a 50/50 lye-water solution, but this definitely isn't a beginner recipe.
This recipe is the exact recipe we use to make our sea salt soaps that are so well loved. We've been making these for years, but we won't be making them any more, so we've decided to share the recipe with all of you!
You may NOT share or re-sell this recipe PDF. You are welcome to make and sell the soap you make from this recipe, with credit to Muddy Mint. You may let people know that it's the same soap we used to make!
