This is download of the exact spreadsheet that we use in our YouTube video (described above and linked in red). Note that this calculator is a guide, but make sure you understand how to use the spreadsheet and what it all means by watching the video.
How to use:
- update the information in the ORANGE boxes ONLY! The rest of the tables are automatically updated.
- there are three downloads available:
- the file is available in .xlsx, .ods, and .pdf.
- I included a PDF file, so you can see the original numbers, but obviously you can't edit it or use it as a spreadsheet.
- all files have a tab for ounces/lbs and a separate tab for grams/kg. If you use a different measurement, you'll need to update this in the spreadsheet.
- usage rates vary from country to country, so please check the usage rates of your products carefully before selling anything using this calculator.
- it's possible there are errors in the spreadsheet. This is a free resource, so please correct errors on your own and I hope you find this download valuable!

Your calculator and video about it came in such a perfect time for me. Had just got lots of frangrances from a friend and had absolutely no idea how to calculate the usage. 😅 Now I know how to find out about it and have the acalculator to help with it. Love the extra sheet to collect all the frangrances to have them handy. Also very good to have both oz and g.
The figures are a bit confusing, when the IFRA sais up to 48% is safe and the seller recomend up to 1%, but with your information I think I can figure it out, safe enough.
Even though I am not making soaps for business, just a little hobby for me, I have learned many useful things from your videos.
