This is NOT a physical product. This listing is for a downloadable PDF file of our Lump of Coal soap recipe.
This soap recipe is all-natural, vegan, and palm-oil free!
This recipe is great for a beginner that wants to experiment with a using activated charcoal in a soap and try a simple essential oil blend! This soap smells AMAZING, and while it is marketed as a holiday "Lump of Coal" soap, it would actually be fantastic as a soap in a main product line, particularly since it appeals to both men and women. The download gives some ideas on how you could change this recipe to make it less of a holiday soap and more of an everyday bar.
This is a comprehensive 11-page PDF download, which includes a one-page quick recipe that you can easily print and a full step-by-step instruction guide.
Please note that this is a beginner-friendly recipe, but it is not intended for a brand new soapmaker! Do not purchase unless you're confident that you can do the following:
- make and use a 50/50 lye-water solution
- use aloe vera juice as an additional liquid
Essential oils used:
- cedarwood and eucalyptus
If you've made a lot of soap, you shouldn't have any trouble following the instructions, even if you've never made a 50/50 lye-water solution, but this definitely isn't a beginner recipe.
This recipe is the exact recipe we use to make our Lump of Coal soap that we've been selling as a holiday soap for many years! It's a fun seasonal scent and we won't be making it any more, so we've decided to share it with all of you!
You may NOT share or re-sell this recipe PDF. You are welcome to make and sell the soap you make from this recipe, with credit to Muddy Mint. You may let people know that it's the same soap we used to make!
