- the file is available in ounces/lbs and grams/kg. If you use a different currency, you'll need to update this in the spreadsheet.
- it's possible there are errors in the spreadsheet. This is a free resource, so please correct errors on your own and I hope you find this download valuable!

Hi Simi,
I am new at making cold process soap but I have made soap before. So I tried making your first recipe (Gentle Shea), the first one I did was absolutely beautiful but I forgot to add the lavender, so I decided to make it again but this time with lavender, I follow the instruction to the letter and I added the essential oil with the butter and as soon as I added the lye solution and use the blender it turned a complete disaster! lol it was like a large rock i had a hard time even placing it in the mold. So I thought this got to be something I did wrong, so try it again this time I waited until I got trace and place the same lavender essential oil and the same thing happened so I figured is the type of essential oil I was using. I honestly did not know that the essential oil can make a huge difference on the outcome. I tell you this only because I wonder if that soap is ok to use? or should I dispose of it. I wouldn't know how to test to make sure if it is safe to use.
